About Us
Founded in 2015, The Law Office of Debrah B. Rosenthal, is a boutique firm located in Costa Mesa, CA that focuses solely on fertility law. We are consistent, patient, and professional, giving each new case the attention it deserves as we help your family grow. An integral part of our services is to work closely with our clients so that they can make the right decisions with respect to their legal needs and feel guided through what often feels like an overwhelming experience. Whether it be drafting a contract for Intended Parents or reviewing documents with Surrogates and Donors, we pride ourselves on our experience and personal touch to ensure that your journey is a positive one. DBR Law works with both agency and independent cases and international, as well as domestic, clients regardless of relationship status, sexual orientation, race, or religion.

Founder & Lead Attorney
Debrah “Debbye” Rosenthal first discovered her passion for the field of third party reproductive law while attending the University of California, San Diego. An honors graduate, Debbye received her bachelor’s degree in sociology, with a minor in law and society. Debbye then obtained her law degree from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California where she graduated cum laude. While in law school, Debbye honed her legal knowledge of this emerging field as a teaching assistant for a Reproductive Justice class and serving as an executive board member of Law Students for Reproductive Justice. Also while attending law school, Debbye interned for a number of boutique law firms specializing in family law and children issues and helped write and develop a "Practice Guide for Surrogacy and Adoption Law in San Diego." Shortly after passing the California Bar Exam, Debbye began working for a small Assisted Reproductive Technology law office in Los Angeles. After a few years with the Los Angeles office, Debbye made the decision to open her own firm in Orange County. Since that time she's been living in Orange County, where she enjoys spending time with friends and family at the beach, walks with the office dog, Benny, at Balboa Island, and trips to Disneyland.

As the Legal Operations Manager at DBR Law, Lauren’s goal is to ensure a professional, personal, and rewarding experience for the firm’s clients and partners.

Lauren is an advocate for the firm’s mission of helping all types of families grow and she utilizes her breadth of knowledge and experience to make that possible. She holds a degree in Sociology from California State University, Fullerton, with concentrations in family and education making her a perfect partner for our clients, agency representatives, and clinic staff. She is one of the first people at DBR Law that you will hear from and her dedication to supporting you every step of the way will start from the first communication. Originally from the San Fernando Valley, Lauren made her way to Orange County for college where she met her husband and started her family. She enjoys movie trivia, cooking and baking, and family trips to Disneyland.

Bentley, aka "Benny" is the dog you'll often hear in the back of our consultations and the Chief Morale Officer at DBR Law. Known for his crazy curls and irresistible cuddles, he's often referred to as the true "boss."
